DVI

DVI, also known as a digital visual interface, is a video interface that is designed to take full advantage of the visual quality of digital devices such as flat panel LCD monitors. Basically, the DVI uses a digital protocol to obtain the required illumination of each pixel and transmits that information as binary data. Thus each pixel output by the DVI corresponds to one pixel in the display device (LCD monitor), while an analog signal may have each pixel affected by adjacent pixels or electrical noise. DVI is digital, so the colour and brightness is exactly as it is meant to be displayed. There are various types of DVI connections: DVI-Digital, DVI-Analog, and DVI-Integrated (Digital & Analog). DVI-D is digital only, used for direct digital connections between the source video and digital LCD monitors. This will give a fast and high quality image. DVI-A is analog, and is used to transmit a DVI signal to an analog display, such as a CRT monitor or budget LCD. A DVI-I cable is integrated, both digital and analog. This is capable of conveying a digital-to-digital signal or an analog-to-analog signal. Digital Visual Interface improves the quality of any monitor or display, and makes watching movies more enjoyable and displayed in a high resolution and as is intended. DVI is the only extensive video standard that incorporates both analog and digital transmission alternatives in the same connector, making DVI a simple and easy option for any user. Also, DVI cable is extremely efficient, as there is not actual loss of a signal with digital, merely instability in the connection. The signal has been mandated to be maintained at 16 feet from the equipment, making DVI a reliable selection.

Nokia N70

The Nokia N70 Mobile Phone – Lights, Camera, Action…my reaction!!
Mobile Phones are soon outdated, but my Nokia N70 was amongst the first few smart phones by Nokia . It’s Dual Camera – a 2 Mega Pixel and a VGA Camera in front makes it ideal, even for 3G users. I would like to review this camera based on my usage as an amateur rather than a Gizmo Guru that some reviewers could be. To enlist all its features would seem like a sales pitch so I will limit it to those which convinced me to buy this baby.
Looks : The N70 is a large mobile phone ( Size: 109 x 53 x 24 mm ) in comparison to its peers like the Sony K 750i but I wanted something that oozed machismo. The N70 matched my expectation in this criterion. Available in Steel grey & Black.
Ease of Use: I have been a Nokia user since the beginning and so the navigation and sub-navigations were familiar ground to me. The major plus points : The 5 way scroll key is useful to have. There are independent keys for Menu, Edit, Music and Cancel/Clear.

Online poker is one of the most convenient ways to play poker. The first online poker room was established on the internet in 1998. It was named Planet Poker and was later followed by many online poker rooms. The popular poker versions include Texas Hold’em, 5 card stud, 7 card stud, draw poker, Omaha, triple draw, crazy pineapple and razz. Draw poker is the most simplified and very popular version of poker. Playing poker online has many advantages. Firstly, one can play from the comfort of his home. He does not have to wait for poker tables to get free like in normal poker rooms. Most of the online poker rooms offer a chance to the players to practise a few games before they actually start playing. They have a lot more options in selecting games than the traditional poker rooms. They provide the ease to transfer money online so that one can play without any hassle. Unlike table poker, online poker is available 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world. The disadvantage of online poker is that it lacks the thrill experienced in traditional poker rooms. Moreover, people get addicted to playing online poker as it is readily available; so one should keep all the above factors in mind while entering into the world of online poker.
